Where secured and unsecured creditors are experiencing problems with their debtors, KPMG is able to assist in assessing their problems by considering and evaluating the alternative courses of action available and recommending the optimal course to be taken.
At the request of creditors, KPMG may arrange to meet with a debtor to discuss the problems encountered and if possible, investigate the debtor's financial position before making recommendations. This may include the reorganisation of the business, the sale of part or whole of the undertaking, or the appointment of judicial managers, receivers and managers or liquidators, or such other courses of action to minimise losses to the creditors.
