Preliminary Due Diligence

The due diligence process begins as soon as you sense a possible acquisition opportunity. A buyer can end up with a lemon if the right questions are not asked before committing to the acquisition. Before you spend thousands of dollars in assembling lawyers, accountants and other industry specialists to perform a full-scope due diligence, you should consider a preliminary due diligence which will assist you in answering a few key questions: Is it in the interest of the stockholders' to buy this company? How much is it worth? Can we afford it?

The preliminary due diligence phase can last a few days to a couple of weeks depending on the purpose and the amount of data required to satisfy your initial information needs. Our professionals are experienced in transactions and can guide you through the preliminary due diligence.

In addition, our services are complimented by our audit and tax practices which can assist you in a full scope due diligence and the completion audit.

For further information about our services or if you would like one of our professionals to contact you, please contact us.
